The situation is very difficult. The internal conflicts are really strong between the supporters and the football association/coaches. The captain is hated by most of the supporters, nobody wanted him to be a captain except of the association president. The football leaders and coaches are completely dilettante, the corruption is at a very high level. The association is 'chasing' the supporters, who protest against these leaders and keep away from the matches. The supporters think that there will be a historic defeat against the ancient opponent Romanians in October. Lot of people can't really support the national team because of these circumstances and the constant lies which are said to us in the last 25 years. Our present is dark but the future is even darker.

I understand... but also draws attention that Hungary has a few footballers playing outside your country, and those few are in medium clubs from low-level leagues. I remember when the World Cup U-20 in Egypt 2009, seemed born a hope for the hungarians. What happened to that generation?

PS: Yesterday I saw the game and when Hungary scored the first goal looked like it could sweep away the Irish, however, were insecure in the final minutes, that's how Northern Ireland took advantage of the moment and turned the game. And it's not the first time I see Hungary lose a game in the final minutes, this make me think that the losses also can be explained by a decisive psychological factor.

Rugby: Uruguay > Eslovenia (siempre)
Handball: Eslovenia > Uruguay (siempre)

Volleyball: Eslovenia > Uruguay (siempre)
Beach-Volley: Uruguay > Eslovenia (siempre)

Hockey sobre Hielo: Eslovenia > Uruguay (siempre)
Hockey sobre Césped: Uruguay > Eslovenia (siempre)

Etc, etc,

y hoy Eslovenia no llega a 3.

Correction: I wrote 'captain', we use this word for the coach of the national team, so he is a hated person (stupid, primitive, arrogant).

Yes, you know much about us. The story of the 2009 bronze medal team is a constant topic in Hungary. The career of most players from that team is completely broken, some of them played abroad but came back to Hungary or they have no team... We have sometimes good results in sub-19, sub-20 tournaments, but later these players can't reach the international niveau. The whole U-sysytem in Hungary is full with the dilettant coaches, corruption of the parents, etc. The current government put a lot of money to the infrastructure, 2-3 new stadiums were built, many are under reconstruction, but there is no knowledge, there are no experts, and many people earn a lot of money even from this piece of shit and these people are against any changes. There is no moral in our football.

Yes, very few players play in good leagues, the number of them is the worst in the last 10-15 years, the Hungarian players are not valuable, good clubs are not interested in them. We have 2 players in Bundesliga (Szalai - Hoffenheim, Stieber - Hamburg), 1 in Russia (Dzsudzsák) and a few in the English Championship (nobody in EPL, because Gera came back), nobody in Liga BBVA, nobody in Ligue 1, nobody in Serie A. Tragical... Moreover Szalai quarreled with the national team coach after that he was not invited to the national team in the last 1 year... The players from the Hungarian league are not accustomed to these kind of tempo and matches, they get tired after 70-80 minutes, this is one of the reason of the defeat yesterday. The other is the psychological factor, that you wrote. The players can't tolerate the pressure and the expextations of the supporters.

We don't have good players. Sad but true. The supporters are frustrated, they are enthusiastic but misled all the time.

Well ... I hope things change soon there, I like teams with history, and Hungary has. Perhaps you need a little luck, a stroke of luck to change the footprint. These qualifiers in first instance, seems like a good opportunity, the group is relatively accessible. Maybe tomorrow get your revenge in Belfast and surprise yourself in Athens and Bucharest.

Greetings from Uruguay.

Thank you. I support Uruguay (mainly because of Francisco José Debali and the old matches between us: 1954, 1962). :)
